We now offer our PJ Kabos Family Reserve Organic Phenolic Shot in two different bottles.
This new bottle may look familiar — and that's intentional because what is inside is exactly the same — but our newest Phenolic Shot bottle comes with a few changes some of you just might like. It’s not replacing the other bottle with its cork lid, but simply giving you an added choice with some different features.

When selecting your pack size in the drop-down menu, you will see six choices — three pack sizes, each with two delivery options.
When choosing:
1 Bottle, 2-Pack, or 6-Pack
Temperature-controlled US warehouse storage is already included.
Final delivery is regular delivery.
Your order is carefully packed with protective paper cushioning for safe final delivery to you.
This is a wonderful choice and the way most customers receive our Phenolic Shot. Bottles normally arrive in pristine shape.
We are proud to offer an optional Temperature Control Delivery service. We introduced this service after customers asked for a shipping and delivery option that could provide added protection from heat exposure.
When choosing:

Temperature-controlled warehouse storage is included, just as it is with the first option.
The difference is in the final delivery to your home: your order is packed in insulated packaging with cooling gel packs and sent via expedited 2–3 day shipping. Please see:
This optional service is designed to help minimize heat exposure during product storage and transit before delivery to you.
Please note: While every effort is made to maintain appropriate conditions throughout the shipping process, we cannot guarantee the temperature of the product upon arrival, as the cooling gel packs may lose their effectiveness during the final hours of delivery. Until that point, however, the temperature-controlled insulated packaging with cooling gel packs help reduce the oil’s exposure to heat.

With the Temperature Control Delivery option, your order leaves the temperature-controlled warehouse packed in insulated packaging with cooling gel packs and is sent via expedited 2–3 day shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions
DO I NEED TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED STORAGE & DELIVERY?
Not necessarily. Our Family Reserve Phenolic Shot is exceptionally rich in olive oil polyphenols, which naturally contribute to the oil's stability. This service is simply an optional premium offering for customers who prefer an added measure of protection during the hottest months of the year.
DO I NEED TO REFRIGERATE MY PHENOLIC SHOT AT HOME?
No. Extra virgin olive oil does not need to be refrigerated. For home storage, an ideal temperature is around 55–59°F (13–15°C), in a dark place away from heat sources. A normal room temperature of around 70°F (21°C) is also perfectly acceptable when the oil is kept in a cool, dry, dark place.
Keep your Phenolic Shot away from direct sunlight and heat-producing appliances, and close the bottle securely after each use.
The temperature-control option described in this post is designed to provide added protection during storage and shipping — it does not mean your olive oil requires refrigeration at home.
CAN HEAT DAMAGE EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL?
Extra virgin olive oil is remarkably resilient. Prolonged exposure to excessive heat may gradually reduce freshness, flavor, and some beneficial compounds, but it does not necessarily ruin the oil. Rather, it can slowly diminish the quality and potency that distinguish exceptional extra virgin olive oil.
CAN YOU GUARANTEE THE TEMPERATURE OF MY OIL DURING SHIPPING?
While our Temperature-Controlled Storage & Delivery service is designed to help minimize heat exposure during storage and transit, no commercial shipping method can guarantee the exact temperature of a product throughout its journey.

At present, Temperature-Controlled Storage & Delivery is available for our Family Reserve Phenolic Shot only. Temperature Controlled Delivery is also available for our cork-lid Phenolic Shot bottle.
