Our ‘Phenolic Shot’ label (Gold Bottle) was tested at a staggering 1100 mg/kg of total Polyphenols and 14.5 mg/20g of Hydroxytyrosol (and its derivatives). One only needs to take 7.5ml (just 60 Calories) per day in order to fulfill the EU Health Claim for Olive Oil.
EU Health Claim:
"Olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. The claim may be used only for olive oil containing at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives per 20 g of olive oil.
The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20 g of olive oil.
